Governor M. Jodi Rell has directed the Department of Economic and Community Development (CECD) to conduct a national search for an executive director of the Office of Brownfield Remediation and Development (OBRD), the state’s lead office for brownfield redevelopment projects. OBRD serves as a centralized resource and clearinghouse for developers, businesses, municipalities and others interested in brining these properties back to product use.
