Hearing to be Held Regarding Wood-Burning Plant

The Connecticut Sitting Council will hold a hearing at Watertown High School on Feb. 5 to provide a forum for residents who wish to voice their opinions regarding the proposal for a wood-burning biomass power plant. The 30-megawatt facility was proposed by the Essex-based company Tamarack Energy for 22 acres off Echo Lake Road in Watertown. The hearing will begin at 7 p.m.
