Cornwall and Canaan to Receive Open Space

The state Department of Environmental Protection recently acquired 308 acres of land in the towns of Cornwall and Canaan to be devoted to open space. The Recreation and Natural Heritage Trust Program and the Federal Highlands Fund financially backed the purchase of this property, which is owned by Francis Deluca on River Road in West Cornwall.
