Amenta/Emma Architects to Go Green

Hartford-based Amenta/Emma Architects announced that it has committed to certifying 100 percent of its professional staff as LEED professionals by the end of 2007. LEED, or Leadership in Environment and Energy Design, standards, were developed by the U.S. Green Building Council to provide a suite of standards for environmentally sustainable design and construction.

I'm glad that Amenta/Emma goes also green because they are a great firm with people with great imagination and really devoted to their projects.Since http://www.decorplanet.com/ Bathroom_Vanities_s/1.htm developed a green side i have more respect for them and i think that this goes to A/E as well.

I want to know how you design and build a building that does not damage the environment. Most developers want to build without thinking about what impact that will be generated from such development.
